National HART Foundation Kicks Off Initial CPR and AED Training
People often say, “Home is where the heart is.” For this reason, the Santa Clarita Valley – home to the National HART Foundation – is where we started our training. With our national vision to see America’s high schools graduate students fully equipped to save a life, it’s great to begin by bettering our own community.
More than 550 students in the William S. Hart Union School District received training in the Spring of 2010. (This “Hart” is named after the old cowboy movie actor. Our HART stands for Heart Attack Rescue Training.) Congratulations to students at Golden Valley and West Ranch High Schools who are carrying American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification cards!
To the 3,600 students registered for our class in the Fall Semester – we can’t wait to meet you!
Beverly Hills High School: 90210 Meets 911
Located in the 90210 zip, Beverly Hills High School students joined the ranks of National HART Foundation Spring Course graduates. With funding for the program through a grant by the City of Beverly Hills, Beverly Hills CPR and the Foundation send an enormous “thank you” to the City Council for recognizing the need to include life-saving skills training in its high school curriculum.
